Skywatch Friday: Queensday

Six instead of the usual four pictures I tend to show on SWF but that's because it was Queensday on april 30th. The day we Dutch celebrate the Queen's mom's birthday I took these shots in my hometown of Amsterdam:

My son, me and a neighbour joined in the gigantic fleemarket the country is that day:

At a popular side-entrance of Vondelpark there stands a church called Vondelkerk (Vondelchurch)

In the park people chat, relax, listen to little girls trying to play the violin:

Vondelpark is renown for inventive games like this one:"Insult the shoe and win a gold nugget"

Coming out of Vondelpark you pass Max Euwe plein, which leads to Leidseplein:

In the distance you can see Leidseplein-square, the populair drinking-scene:

Note: Every SWF-picture published here is shot with my trusty Nokia N93 mobile phone and is unedited. For more Skywatch Friday photo's from around the globe, please check http://skyley.blogspot.com/

P.s. Hope to have a "real" camera soon! 'll Keep you posted!

Mooi sfeerbeeld, Terrence.
