I am really impressed with the appartment building. It is a delight to see that architectural guidelines in Amsterdam obviously are sympathetic to keeping the historical character of the city. In most other countries developers are given free reign to despoil the architectural heritage by bulldozing it down and building shoddy skyscrapers instead.
